I have a phantom 2 that occasionally descends to the ground without me commanding it.    Is it possible that wifi interference in the neighborhood could cause this?

I would say no  if it is coming down in a controlled manner .

I would say it is coming down in a somewhat controlled manner but it was definitely not something that I had commanded.  

Never heard of that happening before .Best to get it sorted maybe try re loading firmware .

How do you reload firmware if you already have the latest ?

This is one way of doing it clears the lot and start afresh.

Click on "no upgrade" and it will offer to re-install the current version...
