I just sold my P3A to help pay for my Mavic Air. Do I un-register my P3A so that the new owner can take ownership and register it with DJI so that they can set up an account with DJI?

You don't have to.
Actually, you can't. It is linked to you forever.
The next owner will get flight records etc, but not the ownership.
But that does not mean anything, except for he/she won't get an icon.
DJI will have both accounts linked to that drone.

Thanks for the information. I'm packing it up this morning to be shipped and just wanted to confirm whether there's anything I should do before it heads to the new owner.  : )

Not that I am aware of.
Maybe wipe the SD card clean.

Thanks for the reminder. Will clear all the internal cache and format the SD card.  : )

You're welcome.
If there is really sensitive info on the card. First overwrite it a couple of times with a lot of date.
After a couple of times nothing can be retrieved from it.
