Whats the difference between flat cable and metal cable of gimbal/camera? Which one transmits the image?

Thank you. My mavic fell to the ground and I think this cable may have ruptured because the image is not being transmitted. I changed the flat cable and only the gimble came back

The cable is very sensitive, so this can be the problem....
