Version1.1.0   I downloaded it from DJI website less than an hour ago.

Doesn't look like its released here for OS yet. The app shows today's date but its the same version.  Cant find any info on it yet. So stop teasing and spill the beans. Whats it like?

Looks like I'm going to have to wait. Went to the DJI web page clicked on to download the app and its still the old version

It's because the IOS version needs blessing by Apple first, whereas DJI can release the Android version instantly.  Kinda annoying for us IOS folks...

well i would rather wait and not have it cause my i pad to crash

Not that sooo usefull for those who use Vegas Pro already. I was waiting for the waypoint first.

Just spoke to DJI Support via live chat.

The guy said that the IOS update is waiting for Apple to approve. He also told me that the OS update was for the Phantom 3, but some things are for the Inspire (didn't say what). The updates for the Inspire IOS won't take affect until the next Firmware update, when asked when that would be he said he didn't know, but as they had just released a Firmware update recently it might not be for a couple of months.

Personally this just eats away a little more of my confidence in the DJI brand and I shall be changing to another manufacturer as soon as I can sell the Inspire kit.

DJI will deliver, I do believe this. The Inspire1 was released before it was ready, we all know that but the way I see it, I would rather have what I have now, and wait for the rest of the functions, than wait until, maybe the end of the year to have a complete package.

If you were to ask me. Be grateful for what I have now or have no I1? The answer everytime would be with my I1.  Awesome piece of kit, with or without the upcoming features.

I think it is useful for quick video editing. But the cutting and editing logic is really hard to understand. They should release an official tutorial for Director.

yep, it took me about half hour to understand the logic of editing - -!
basically, you need to cut the raw vid into many clips (they call moment in DJI Pilot). then you choose a template, and arrange selected moments in particular order and save video.

but I still didn't find out the difference between templates except music.

I can't seem to get my video clips into the album in the user center. There is no clips in the album, what am I missing here?

It' on IOS. Haven't tried it yet.

I'm on Android Klute, I think it has to go through Apple before they can release it.

Same ...I am using Android and some kind of Instruction Guide would be real nice.  Played around with it a bit on the ground and so far I cant see using while in the air....To big of a distraction...I would rather have a way of taking pictures while filming without having to stop the video every time I want a picture.

I sometimes record in 4k then pull stills from the film with premier pro. I have got some awesome shots like this, I've even had them blown up and printed 600mmx850mm without loosing any detail.

You have to tap "playback" button under "Camera". Then you can download "cached video".
After download, you will find your clips by create work in "Director".

Hey Tag,  how quick/easy was it to use?

Markaguille, It was quite easy, once I've understood
So you create a new movie, choose an existing template then play you existing videos and cut pieces of 10 sec or more which creates "Moments", from there you choose each one in the proper order and Director makes the magic for you. Music is changed at each 10sec increment.
Next thing is to be able to create my own template...

As far as I know, there is no way to edit a template and they only order 4 templates.
But I guess they'll update it usually.
