Hello pilots,

Is Seagate Fly Drive compatible with CINESSD STATION ? Does it worth it ?

What would be the fastest way to back up files in the field and free space in CINESSD ? Is there any way to do it without a PC ?

Thanks !

Hello whitehammer,
I don’t know if it is the fastest way to do a backup but

Lacie Dji Copilot

will be a super way to backup your video in the field without a PC ... and save money.

The picture has been captured from the video posted on YouTube (Lacie channel).

Bye...... I think Dji Copilot will be my next purchase too !

Great idea but as there are no real specs, it's more than likely  going to be really slow....

If the speed indicated in the picture is correct, and my calculation is correct too, a  SSD card of 480 GB  could be copied in to DJI Copilot in 21 minutes.

480 GB = 491'520 MB        491'520 : 387 = 1'270 seconds       1'270 : 60 =  21.15 minutes

I am not an expert, but if there are no errors in my calculation, I think the transfer time is not exceptional but is acceptable, .... we will see.
Please let me know if I am wrong.
Bye.

If someone has already used and can share a review it would be great

Just got our LaCie DJI Copilot today and tried it out on a few different memory devices. Works well with SD cards, Atomos SSDs and memory sticks. However, I can't get it to copy footage from CineSSD using the DJI docking station. It recognises there is a USB device but won't copy. I'll post something on the BTS section of our site when I've done a video review of it. https://www.dgtlconcepts.co.uk/behind-the-scenes/

I'm having the exact same issue. Just got my DJI Copilot to be able to transfer from the CINESSD. The drive recognizes a USB device, but never copies. Searches around for it. If DJI/Lacie showcase the drive transferring from the CINESSD, then I'm assuming there will be a firmware update for it. Can you share the link to your review about the Copilot?

There is a thread about the CoPilot here: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... p;page=1#pid1484586

I've been in contact with support, sending logs and I've done testing for them, but so far there is no solution about the Inspire 2 CineSSD.

Its all be sorted now through Lacie. Update now works and transfers from CineSSD.
