Good Morning.

1st time spark buyer here. Havent been able to even fly it since im like 2 miles away from a rural airport and it says im restricted. Oh well. Thats another story. Currently my owning experience has been fustrating.

I open the box and two small pieces of plastic fall out. I cant identify what they are and after paying $400 for this I am refusing to fly becuase I dont want this to fly away, crash or god forbid injur someone or an animal.

Can you guys tell me of this is normal?

Yeah, That fell out of the Box, I wonder it's the gimbal lock

Bro same issue here same pc come with the box
And also one led cover ring was also broken
Contacting dji since 14 jan(purchased also on 14 jan)
And yes its a gimbal back cover
They are saying that they cannot ship new product to india due to custom issue.
Now stuck with a faulty product

There was nothing like that in the box with my Spark.  Not sure about now but when I purchased my Spark it did not come with any kind of gimbal lock. The smaller piece looks a little like the cover over the usb port on a Mavic but the picture is fuzzy when I enlarge it.

Looks like the back of the gimbal bracket is broken.  Call DJI Support.

Ahhh yes I crashed and this plastic piece came out as well. Now I know where it is from! Thank you!

WOW thanks for all the responses.

I took it back and got a new one.

It's all good now. I almost took it back and was going to use the money on a Google Max speaker since I live 1.5 miles from a rural airport and it was a nightmare to get it to allow the motors to turn. I finally did it.

So it's staying.

I never got the money back. I went to best buy since I only had it for 24 hrs.

Sorry for the late reply. May I know where did you purchase the drone? Had you tried to contact the local dealer regarding this case? I can feel for you.
