Is there a way to charge an iPhone thats used for flying the MA while its connected to the controller?

E.g. with a battery case?

Do you know if there is a future update to let charge the phone ?
Traveling with a Mavic Air and an Osmo Mobile 2 is a real problem for the battery.

No, never. That is a horrible idea.

It would be great if it could be toggled. :-)

The request had forwarded to our engineers. Hopefully, they will take it into consideration.

Why not keep a power bank with you and between shots charge the phone?

Best idea...... drop the IPhone and get a Samsung.

Agree.... I am noticing that my Android is being charged by the RC. How do I know? Well my battery indicator on my phone turned into "charging mode" with the lighting bolt going through it. This mean it is charging and well guess what... my RC battery juiced and reduced and cuts the life of the RC to half.

Could be a setting that I configured incorrectly but I'm not sure .

This has been a reported 'issue' on android devices - IOS devices do not charge the RC. I don't use Android so not sure if this is something you can switch off or not.

Filming and droning discharge way faster the battery than you can charge it with a power bank.
And btw: more material, less mobility.

I must be not filming enough. Usually my power bank for my phone and my 4 batteries give me enough juice to film. My power bank is half the size of my iPhone and gives me 2.5 charges, so no mobility issues.

Is there any update regarding the possibility of RC charging iPhone?
