MY BRAND NEW MAVIC PRO PLATINUM IS GETTING THE FOLLOWING ERRORS ON MY PHONE:

FORWARD LEFT VISION SENSOR ERROR

VISION SYSTEM ERROR

(A00004)

SAYS ITS A HARDWARE MALFUNCTION

THE CONTROLLER SAYS CHECK APP/ SYSTEM WARNING

JUST OUT OF THE BOX, ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Just make sure there's no packing tape covering the Forward sensors. I got errors until I found this clear film covering the sensor's lens.

I just checked now but unfortunately there wasn't anything obstructing them

I did that this morning and also updated the firmware but still no luck
it will fly but has those two error messages

Sounds like more evidence of poor quality control from DJI. Return it to the store for a replacement. Do not return it to DJI or you'll get a refurbished unit with an unknown number of flight hours (and who knows if the original problem was ever fixed).

Yep, if you still have errors after the FW refresh and sensor calibration via Assistant 2 then I would return this as a defective unit and get a brand new replacement.

Pack it up and send it back unless you want to replace the sensor system yourself.

Simply turn off obstacles avoidance in sensor settings.

Thanks to all who tried to help
I ended up returning it to the store where I purchased it and they gave me a new one.  I couldn’t save the decal girl skin thought but at least this one works
