It still works but if it happened higher or a 100 meters away i would be in trouble.
Be careful in the cold.

Just curios what was temperature there? I was flying yesterday in about -15 Celsius and had no problems, but took drone with battery from inside so it had room temperature when started.

-9 celcius ,but foggy... that might be the problem...

The Air was shaking even after the latest firmware update in the cold, you can see a jitter in the video.
I probably have the data in my phone.
The reason I sold it:
1: not reliable in cold
2: wifi only
3: too noisy


I had the batteries in my inside pocket and the drone under the seat of the snowmobile in a plastic bag and the hard case.

Could be condensation. Like when you take a camera lens out into the cold.

Hard to say what happened but the cold and fog do not seem like helping... ;)

thanks for your video. it is great to get video and sound at the moment things go wrong - without this we only are able to make guesses.  sorry for your sacrifice but i appreciate it.

yes that humidity and condensation could cause issue. By the way I'm also on latest firmware and in -15 Celsius I was also noticing very light shake after start and I started rotors and they were firstly running about one minute on the ground and took of after that.

Sorry for your case. The flight record might not be sufficient for investigating your case. But it is okay if it is not convenient to provide it. And I had forwarded this thread to let our engineers noticed it.
