I'm a stupid jerk.
I was not worthy to get back my drones today.
Flew as far as the wifi signal disappeared.
No worrying it has happened many times.
Chose Home Lock, withdrew reverse lever.
After 15 seconds, still no wifi.
My mobile unlocked on a home network, so I got out and search for drones network manually. Then it dived up a little while.
Then withdrew reverse lever again & wifi disappeared once again :-(
I panicked. Heard nothing, saw it not.
I was sure that I was in a pile who lost their drones.
Then came the wifi information back.
Then I see that the height was 10 meters !! In the middle of a residential community !!
I had chosen the lever height and not the reverse lever !!!
Stupid idiot !!
But then disappeared some even remote signal and it went to the RTH mode & went up to 30 meters which I have chosen.
Then after that it felt like an eternity I saw my drones for a moment so I directed extender & remote there.
Got the picture that was in the position RTH.
Thanks DJI for that feature.
It saved me, and that I have chosen 30 meter height at RTH mode.
Phuuu, my drones got a kiss when it landed :-)

Gotta remember which stick is up and down, you could have been giving some kids a one time hair cut.  Glad you got it back, but man, watch those sticks.

Jonny,

Sounds like you made a mistake, we've all done it. Fortunately, nothing bad happened and you learned from it. Based on your description, I don't think you'll make that mistake again! I'm glad you got your bird back and you learned something. Have fun flying!

Wow, another where there's  pilot error and the RTH safety saves the bird. Good thing you lost connection or it would have landed. RTH and Failsafe are fantastic features. Saved a many of birds from getting away from the nest permanently. Thanks DJI for those features.
Just a reminder if any of you use the waypoints.. Make the first one close enough to you to get the height you need to clear objects as the bird will slowly climb to the first waypoint on an angle and if any objects are between you and number one waypoint ..... OPS !,,
