started my first flights yesterday with the Phantom 2 vision+.
And I filmed it with the SD card already in (4GB).
I use a Mac with Yosemite and wanted to get the movie from the copter to the Mac.
I used the USB cable, switched on the copter and my mac saw the card as a drive.
I tried using Fotos and the other tool (only know the german name) which I usually use to download fotos from iPhone or cameras.
None worked.
In both cases it started the download and then, at one point in time, it dismounted the copter and nothing was downloaded.
What can I do (except getting an adapter for the micro sd and then put the sd in my mac directly)?

I doubt the port on the camera is rated for USB 3.0 so I'd recommend getting an SD card adapter.  In my experience the USB transfer method is pretty slow considering the size of the video files.
