Can't establish connection between the RC and my brand new CS nor via USB-USB-C cable nor via WiFi connection.
All firmware / software are on the latest.
While using my mobile phone via the short USB cable to the microUSB connector on the RC it enters the device without issues.
Whith the CS it always stops at step 3 "connect the RC and the mobile device" see screenhshots
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Tu sei un pomodoro... ;-)  He hasn't connected any other cable. Even WiFi connection doesn't work apparently, we had a long chat via PM tonight.

Seeing your screenshots I am wondering if you have ever tried to simply skip this setup menu? Just push on the "X" in the upper right corner and see what happens then.

Is not possible to connect when trying to skip. Pressing the X just brings You back to the main screen

But in the meanwhile after taking teh battery out of the CS and rebooting twice and switching the RC also twice off and on connection was finally established.

Ah ok, this changes everything. The issue was the connection between your RC and the MA. I had understood that you did not manage to connect your CS with the RC. Glad that all is solved now :-)

when the AC, RC and DJI Go4 are on sometimes I find that I need to restart the controller to get the CS to recognise the connection in the app
It's something to do with the order of turning things on, I suspect the DJI Go4 needs to be first followed by the AC and the RC
