I assume this happens every time the Mavic Air is turned off and on again.

Hi there, I am sorry for the difficulties. Please check if there is a need to update the firmware, or you can also try to refresh the latest firmware via DJI Assistant 2. If the issue persists, you might need to send the drone in, or you can also bring the drone to the nearest recommended repair center if it is convenient. Refresh the firmware to the latest version using Assistant 2 on both the drone and RC.
Once done calibrate the IMU, gimbal and RC.
Reboot the drone and if the warnings reappear after doing all of that then send it back straight away for replacement.
