I last used my Phantom 4 Pro in late November 2017, it was stored at 25% charge. Yesterday, I went to charge the battery and no lights came on, left it for 30 minutes on charge, nothing!!! Has anyone had this issue and if so, is there a solution. The battery has only had about 20 charges and was new, with the drone, 12 months ago.
DJI Intelligent Flight Batteries are made up of advanced battery cells, LEDs, a power button and a small processor called a protection board. Features include a controlled safe discharge rate preventing overcharge and over discharge, extended flight times, and auto Return to Home at low power.
Take a stab in the dark and put it on the charger overnight. I recall reading something somewhere, that a believed dead battery recovered after a long period on the charger.
So, given the thread started a day or two ago demonstrating a battery dropping from 100% to 25% in five months, we can conclude that a battery stored at full charge and being ignored is in grave danger of being dead in eight months or possibly less.
Thanks for all of the replies. I contacted DJI online support who directed me to a "specialist", he advised to send the battery to DJI service department. Got a UPS label today and its on its way back. Will update what the outcome is when I hear from DJI service department. I did leave it on charge for about five hours, more in hope than expectation, no lights came on after this extended period.

Heard back from DJI regarding the failed battery. It appears the battery had developed a fault and is being replaced at no charge to me. Must say the service from DJI was excellent, it was easy to return the unit with full tracking and good communication from DJI when they received the unit.
DJI Notification.
After testing and diagnosing your product, DJI will provide you with the free repair service. The repair is expected to be finished in 2 to 3 working days, then the product will be sent back to you. Thank you for choosing DJI.
