Well I flew my mavic pro in minus 17 degrees in my latest adventure video.  It did not want to fly, kept getting gimbal overheating error.  its like it was talking to me.  I did eventually get it up and flew it for about 10 minutes. Was scared one of the propellers might cease and it would crash.  I also used my dji osmo mobile for the first time.  This is a sweet gimbal. Anyways if you interested you can see a few of the shots in my latest video they are pretty.

I bought a pair of gloves from northface that enable me to use my iPhone while wearing them. Worth looking in to but -17c will probably freeze the fabric LOL - that is cold!

No No No.  The HOCKEY sharks.  Of course, being a California boy, I'll have to agree that we have teeth when playing any of your folks from Canada.  However, I do give the Canadians GREAT respect for what they did awhile back.  During a game in Canada, the PA went out during the singing of the AMERICAN national anthem.  Guess what.  The crowd just took over and finished singing it for the PA guy.   The US anthem! Meanwhile, in the US, we have football players taking a knee during OUR anthem.  Quite a difference.  That said, however, GO SHARKS ! ! !

oh lol. I thought maybe that's what you were talking about.  I've always liked the sharks but I'm a flames fan mainly.  go flames go.

If I am remembering this right.  
You should put a glove heat pack on top side (finger nail side) of your hand just above the knuckles.  That warms blood being carried into your fingers.
Which should not interfere with use of your hands.

Actually they did.  they said they were about 70lbs and will grow to about 90lbs

I think because people experience battery problems where the batteries swell because of the high heat, it seems the batteries in cold weather need to warm up but once the craft has been flying the batteries are safer than in high heat where the life and longevity and safety become the issues. Sorry about your hands.
