Hi,
bad news: I drowned and with that lost my recently purchased Mavic Pro Platinum. Just because this drone is so amazing I bought a new one.
Now: I have everything twice apart from the drone and one battery. I tried to connect my old remote controle with my new drone but this seems not to work. Does that mean that I can trash my old/first remote controle? Or is there a way to re-use it?

You can also use both - one to pilot the drone and the other RC to control the camera when flying with someone else in a ‘master/slave’ set up. Another advantage of OcuSync.  

Sorry for your case, Timsen. For the new drone and old RC, they can work together, had you worked it out? If had not, please check the firmware of the RC and AC, try to refresh the latest firmware via DJI Assistant 2. Then try to relink the AC and RC, please check the tutorial below. Hope it helps.
