I took the insurance and crashed the mavic air in 1 day.sent in the drone dji emails me saying I can fix it for aprox $140 or get one sent out to me for $69.  I chose to get one sent out because I dint want to wait. It has been over week and no ups tracking number. I could had gotten mine fixed already and been flying by now...
Is this normal for DJI.?

No matter whether you arranged to get it repaired or replaced, you need to give it at least two weeks , this is not to bad service and has improved greatly from 12 months ago, I suggest be patient and use your time to study manual and watch all tutorial videos.

Sounds like you need to slow down anyway.
