helping a firend to get his inspire pro up again

not sure to which firmware i need to update since they all fail.

Please check the connector between the camera and adapter. I would recommend you clean it and install it again. Also, you can check the 8 pin and 10 pin cable above the camera and see if it is well-connected. Thanks for your support.

The log file reveals to me that it is the famous “device not detected” case. The log file indicates that on 2 March 2018, there was a FW upgrading attempt to the Inspire 1 Pro but was not successful for the reason that the remote controller was switched on during the aircraft FW upgrade. As a result both Device ID [08 00] and Device ID [15 00] were damaged and thus were not detected in the course of that upgrade, and will not be detectable again in any further upgrading attempt even with remote controller off.

You will have no choice but to send the Inspire 1 Pro back to DJI for repairing.

Do you actually read the Log and examine it ? Just wondering why the "Pros" at DJI cant recognize when a camera has a bad Encoder module on the unit when most of us experienced forum members can spot that immediately . I have seen this time and time again , then. one of the members has to step in and give the REALITY that the camera at minimum would need to be sent in becasue the unit will not be able to update or give live video with this error on it .

Hello everyone, I also have a similar problem, I bought used an inspire 1 pro with two cameras, x3 and x5. When I mounted the x3 on another inspire 1 I saw that I had no image return but the camera recorded and moved correctly, I tried inspire 1pro with the same result. At this point I tried to update the FW but after few minutes the update has failed, tried again and again several times with failure and at some point was made as it results from the text of the folder that is created, precise that I used the x3. Result, nothing has changed, always absent image, checking I noticed that I had mistakenly used the FW of the RAW version. I tried to update with correct version for x3 but nothing to do, always interrupted process with failure.
Now I wonder; why this happened, a response certainly comes from the hidden files that tell me that the 0800 and 1500 lines are device not detected I did not make a test, since it is claimed that the transmission card is damaged, I have I put the x3 on an osmo and in this the camera works perfectly even with the image return on the iphone or ipad. At this point how should I proceed to ensure that the inspire 1 pro is correctly updated with the FW, possibly the version previously installed, and resume the x3, also what is the procedure for the correct update of the FW on inspire 1 pro, must use the x5 and the FW for this version and automatically the x3 will be detected, or how did I use the x3 and insert the sd with FW for the pro?
I understand that I have many doubts and I would be grateful if they were clarified

Hello everyone, I also have a similar problem, I bought used an inspire 1 pro with two cameras, x3 and x5. When I mounted the x3 on another inspire 1 I saw that I had no image return but the camera recorded and moved correctly, I tried inspire 1pro with the same result. At this point I tried to update the FW but after few minutes the update has failed, tried again and again several times with failure and at some point was made as it results from the text of the folder that is created, precise that I used the x3. Result, nothing has changed, always absent image, checking I noticed that I had mistakenly used the FW of the RAW version. I tried to update with correct version for x3 but nothing to do, always interrupted process with failure.
Now I wonder; why this happened, a response certainly comes from the hidden files that tell me that the 0800 and 1500 lines are device not detected I did not make a test, since it is claimed that the transmission card is damaged, I have I put the x3 on an osmo and in this the camera works perfectly even with the image return on the iphone or ipad. At this point how should I proceed to ensure that the inspire 1 pro is correctly updated with the FW, possibly the version previously installed, and resume the x3, also what is the procedure for the correct update of the FW on inspire 1 pro, must use the x5 and the FW for this version and automatically the x3 will be detected, or how did I use the x3 and insert the sd with FW for the pro?
I understand that I have many doubts and I would be grateful if they were clarified

With the devices 08 00 and 15 00 not detected, the only way to make good the Inspire 1 Pro is to send it in to DJI for repairing / replacing.

The proper way of updating an Inspire 1 or Inspire 1 Pro is to update the aircraft first with the remote controller SWITCHED OFF. After successfully update the aircraft, switch it off and unload the bin file and the update log files to your PC or Mac and check through the log files to confirm whether the update was successful. Only then you should start updating your remote controller via DJI GO App with the aircraft SWITCHED OFF.

To ensure that everything will work fine, I would recommend you to send the whole set of Inspire 1 Pro including the aircraft, the remote controller, the X3 and the X5 to DJI for repairing.

Thanks, I contacted DJI and I will send the whole set as you advised me, I hope they solve quickly and above all that it does not cost as much as the x3 that however on osmo works properly. This is always strange to me, but it is so, I can not understand why. Also I tried again to install the FW, obviously failing, but in the hidden files you can now see two folders with the name osmo? strange

I have the same issue. Trying to update an Inspire 1 with X5.
Latest firmware into fresh micro sd, gives me blinking red/green, then solid red.
Looking at the text log as you posted earlier just says "Failed".
How do I access the "hidden logs"?
