Hi There!
First time posting here, I have been able to pilot my phantom 3 4K succesfully up to now.
This morning i flew a perfectly fine in the just below freezing temperatures conditions, and landed it for a battery swap.
Right after the battery was replaced, i saw the gimbal startin up, and not doing its 'initiation dance', and it kept whirring and beeping uncontrollably.
I was hoping for the gimbal to warm up properly during the flight, and it being able to stabilize itself properly, but it wouldn't and ended up showing 'Gimbal motor overload' on the screen. After seeing this, i carefully landed the drone and didn't fly anymore.
I did not think much of it, and hoping the gimbal would perform fine after it had warmed up when having been inside for some time, but it hasn't.
additional info:
-Video feed is perfect
-gimbal gives double beep every half second or so
-not a single movement from the gimbal, it's just totally passive
-little LED on the gimbal main board blinks RED
-No hard landing ever
-all gimbal arms are straight and true
-no cracks visible in ribbon cable.
-gimbal reset was attempted, no sign of life.
-main gimbal cable (the bigger of the 2), was reinserted
Who has a fix for this error?
Many thanks,
Olivier Groot
