ive tried on my phone to hook up and fly but the dji app says disconnected so I downloaded the app on my sons phone and got it to work but it says firmware update, I've watched numourous videos on how to do this but when I go to home page there is nothing their that says start update,the home page just says disconnected. I'm brand new to this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey there, may I know which drone do you use? Generally, the reminder of new firmware will pop us if when connected with internet. You can check the current firmware from here: Click the three dots on the right corner> General Settings>About.
