Unfortunately they don't mention any type or number etc. But maybe they are all compatible.

I saw the founders interview on YouTube and they were pretty mum about the Remote instead to say there was an optional controller.

Congratulations on your purchase. I just don't think the Tello is really going to give you a whole lot more than our Spark, especially with video. Flips are one thing, but viewing the footage on the Tello you'll find yourself feeling spoiled for the Spark video instead.

Thanks. Yes I have a Spark which I love but I ordered the Tello for my wife. I hope she will enjoy it when it arrives.

It was kind of a quick interview that didn't really differentiate RYZE from DJI very much (although we know there is a big difference).

I didn't realize the Gamesir opened up to hold your phone. I'd rather have the phone centrally balanced but for $35 I guess I can't complain. Looks good enough for me.

Will Crystal sky take the app?

While I'm not planning on buying a Tello (I have a Spark), I did a quick search online and found that our local WalMart claims to have 2 Tellos in stock ready to purchase.  Just a heads up to those interested in getting a Tello.

Ryze replied immediately that crystal sky is not compatible.

I ordered one but order doesn't show up and item still shows as unpaid in my cart.
Funny, I got an email confirmation plus an email from Paypal showing the payment.
DJI chat says they show the order and it may take 24 hrs to show up in my orders.

ordered one and it has already shipped from China

Looks like the Spare remote is compatible

Not on the DJI store, but on the tello site there is another controller.
I can't see what type that is.

it is on the DJI store link above. It says the game controller works and maybe the Spark remote will work too.

I read that as tello controller will fly spark too, but not spark controler will fly telli.

Seems i been to busy with getting another new toy or not a toy by any means but have been researching this one. as for the controller many can be had cheap but not all work as i have also heard.  Many videos on this thing show all. and wind is a major no no for it as many has said.  I still want one just as a toy but also improve my skills without trying to kill spark or mavic.  Hey you can never quit trying to improve skills and this to me would be a great help to me and also have fun. But got to wait until next week till my sweetheart comes in. but will say that on many videos now tell much so one can deside on if they want or not. so go to utube and search and will now see many. one poor guy crashed but was ok.  lol.  will say am getting one just for the he.. of it. and if my luck something goes wrong hey it was cheap so a learning lesson.

I downloaded the Tello App which is not related to the Go App. So far, you do not need to register or log into the Tello App. With this said, most likely it will not show up on your DJI profile.
Getting the Tello on Friday, we will see

You get a 3rd party blue tooth game controller. There's a couple of different ones they say will work. The one I bought was $35 US.

I think the Tello will cannibalize sales from DJI's other drones, not sure if they expect to sell a bunch that will lead to more sales, but how many Mavic Pro drones were sold in the past two years?

And it's isn't compatible with Android they're saying?

Mine came today, currently have it charging. The battery was at 4% out of the box so it wouldn't take off due to low battery alarm.

There's 2 different ones. One is Apple, the other, Android. I ordered the Android one. It's supposed to be here today, I'll let you know if it works.
