Brought my Spark to work so I could take some pictures before heading home. It was an absolutely beautiful evening, unexpected for early March.

Nice shots.  Are you using some kind of sharpening tool in your image editing???

Thanks! and yes, my problem is that sometimes the images are actually sharpened too much. It creates a sort of hyper-realistic shot, which I don't want.

#2 looks strange because I think I had the exposure too high when I took the photo. I tried everything to try and take some light away from the photo, but as you can see, I couldn't balance everything out correctly.

Ah, that explains it indeed.
Not everything can be fixed in post..
