Hi all,
I keep having problem transferring video to iPad via lighting sd card reader. My videos are recorded in 1080p 50 fps. Sometimes video transfer works and sometimes it doesn’t. I made sure that the video has stopped recording when I power off Mavic Air and the video recording is in MOV.  See pic below. Something that I have missed?

Just to verify, all videos are recorded in 1080p 50 fps, right? How about transferring to PC, instead of the iPad?

What generation is the iPad you're using? Depends on the iPad, it may affect what you can playback and preview  them.

Hi there,
Yes the videos are recorded in 1080 p 50 fps. I have also tried 1080 p 30 fps.

Transferring to my Mac is fine through the mavic air. Since I am editing my video through my iPad Pro, it is more convenient to transfer directly to iPad via sd card reader.

Cheers
Perry

I am using iPad Pro 10.5 inch. It was working before when I transfer video from spark via sd card. Not with Mavic air though even though on the same setting and MOV files.

Hi Susan,
Can you suggest if there is any setting I need to do in order to get my video to iPad Pro using sd card reader?

Lightning card readers are notorious for stopping. Is the one you have a genuine Apple one or Ebay/Amazon one. I find if I unplug it and plug it back in that often works.

Perry, thanks for getting back to us. Does the issue appear regularly? Please try to clean the cache or change to another lightning card reader to verify.

I’m seeing the same issue. In the Import screen, files until a certain point are visible, and after that everything looks like a a gray box, and cannot be imported.
I’m using a genuine Apple lightning SD reader, and Samsung microSD to SD converter.
