Hello, I bought a phantom 3 and now DJI pilot is not yet support ios

When DJI pilot will be compatible with ios?

According to DJI:   Any second now.

Reality:  Who knows.

Last week when I got my P3 (Tuesday or Wednesday I think) they were saying "within a week"

According to Dji, Wednesday or Thursday. Asked yesterday the 4th.

Guy on the left said he works for DJI. He probably gave the guy an iPad with the beta version on it.

Possibly don't take your bird for long flights or keep it grounded until the app is released. I'm going to wait till someone has reviewed the IOS app before I use it fully, I don't want accidental flyaway or motor cut out.

My guess it they'll release it, gauge the level of response, look for any reported bugs then release a firmware update shortly after, unless all the android users out there have tested the waters where the apps code base is the same.

Just have bought Phantom 3 Advance in the Netherlands.
Still no compatible IOS app

contacted today DJI support
they say within one week
but no exact date was given :-(

Didnt they say within one week, a week to the day?

That is an outstanding informational video, makes me want to buy one.  Wait, I already did.
I was hoping he would fly it with the Apple watch he was wearing. :-)
Looking forward to loading up iOS.

I downloaded the app on my iphone 6, and opened it. It worked, but i dont have a Phantom 3 just yet. So does this mean the app will work when i am connected to the P3?

No, that app will be for the Inspire !

How do you connect the controller to your iPad? The usb cord that comes with it does not fit the lightning port on the iPad. Am I missing something?

Edit: Tahoe Ed answered this question for me in another thread, use the iPad charging cord. Pretty obvious but noobies will be noobies!! Thanks again Ed, I am sure I will have many more questions before I fly my phantom 3 for the first time!!

iOS version will be released any day now hopefully!! We are all waiting.....some more patiently than others!!
