I'm trying to download Litchi to my device, P4P Plus. How do I link my device to my google account?

You can't.
The P4 pro+ screen is not an ordinary Android tablet.
It is a closed system and does not allow loading 3rd party software.

Bummer. That's very disipointing. Now what do I do? Will I need to buy another RC and use a tablet?

There's no difference in the aircraft.
A regular P4 pro controller will work and allow 3rd party apps to run.

Thanks. I'm wondering if I can change the Plus controller I have?

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD LITCHI TO MY P4P+ CONTROLLER. I WAS TOLD ON THE FORUM THAT IT CAN'T BE DONE. DOES ANYONE HAVE OR KNOW OF A WORK AROUND?

If anyone did... they would be able to load Litchi.  So far no-one has managed to load Litchi.

One of the drawbacks to the + model.  I thought I read somewhere that someone had managed to root the CS screen to allow third party apps.  Try searching on Goggle or some of the RC sites.

Sure you can, DJI opened it up to download 3rd party apps.  I have downloaded apps.  Screen Record etc.

DJI told me today that it's not possible. Any info to the contray will be appriciated.

The problem with Litchi and some other flight apps, they require a controller, cause of the way CS works with the plus controller its one whole symbiosis type thing, and it does not see it as a seperate controller connection througgh USB, so when  you install such as litchi, it does not see the controller, thats what i have picked up on here...

Yes, That's what I've been seeing also. I googled it and there are a couple of work arounds but I'm not famillure with Linex. So it seems to be preaty complicated. I guess I'll just bite the bullet and go with a regular controller and iPad.

I have CrystalSky and for P4P+ is něw firmware too, where is this alloved. But not GooglePlay. In CrystalSky, there must done rooting and after it install GooglePlay. For P4P+ remote controle this is not suitable and I don´t view this done. My friend have P4P+ and don´t have GooglePlay there and he haven´t have other applications, because he use old version of firmware, where is GO4 version 4.1.14 for offline maps.

thats right Chipke, no google play. Only dji play
