Did you encounter any shorter lasting batteries or did the flight(s) perform as expected?

Ive got a couple of videos at night...  I haven't gotten the guts to fly it too far out.  I think the furthest is maybe 500' out and maybe 100' up.  The original video here is from the helipad at the hospital I work at.  These others are from the same hospital.

I got around 12 minutes of flying during this flight.  It was alittle breezy at around 20 mph during this flight and it was launched on the helipad at the hospital I work at.

Nice videos. Did you get any enhanced warning zone notifications being so close to Burke? I’m in Brunswick and just outside the enhanced warning zone for Hopkins. Just curious what happens when you takeoff inside an enhanced warning zone.

When I powered the remote on I got a notice about accepting liability for flying where I was, but I never got one of those "can not fly" errors nor was I told by the app that I needed to "unlock" the area.   When I get back in tonight I'll read it carefully and screen shot it. I guess I just skimmed over it.  However I did get grounded near Lorain County Regional.  I had to go online and apply for an unlock period type of thing.

That sounds like the same standardized data that I come up with when flying in warmer conditions with little wind.

I've only flown in a handful of cold days around 50 degrees and sometimes the only thing I've noticed were battery temperature messages displayed on the application.

I'd rather fly in snow I think than extremely hot temperatures with loads of sun like we get here in Arizona.

It's not a big deal to fly at night as long as you can keep visual contact to your drone, and also if you can fly a place with some artificial light then you should have no problem.

check out my night flight video

It is one of my things to do that I haven't tried yet with my drones. I'm just waiting for a night where I can capture everything in a well lit area.

How does the heat effect your batteries?  I've seen a lot posted on these forums and others about the effects of cold weather but nothing about the heat.  Maybe there isn't an issue, but I guess I'd fear for an overheated and possible exploded battery.

I have been typically flying in temps between 25-40 degrees so far.  I've only gotten one battery temperature warning/advisory and that's when the temp dropped to 19 degrees.  I'd like to take it out tonight, if it quits snowing here...

Great snowy video! And the second video is square!? Is it ready for instagram? Square is clever because you don't have to adjust the orientation of your phone to enjoy it. Nice work!

I haven't really tested the batteries flying in unbearable heat yet. I will report back once I have a few hot days under my belt. Keep your fingers crossed no explosions :-)

I think the Spark and DJI drones alike handles cold weather better than hot weather, but I am not entirely sure until my tests and flight history can be compared.

You will be surprised of how good the little Spark does in low light conditions, it does have a quite good dynamic range as you can see in my video.

I flew yesterday evening when it was completely dark and amazingly I had further line of sight at night than in daytime. The video came out good, except that my Spark camera when in GPS mode flying side to side was leaning a little, almost like when Yawing in Sport, except that there wasn't any wind?
