Hi all, I am going to Finland, Norway, Tallinn, Sweden next week and would like to bring the Mavic Air with me to take some photos and video.
It is my first time to travel in Europe and its also my first time to travel with my drone.

May I know if there is any restrictions / point to note to play drone in these places?

Thank you

Hi, I would recommend you enter our official website and enter the link to learn about the local regulations. Or you can contact the local authority for more info. Here is the link: https://www.dji.com/flysafe?site=brandsite&from=footer

Hi Elektra,
How is this data collected? I ask as I am off to Singapore later in the year to see some family and I see the DJI NFZ's are different to that of the CAAS. This could mean that DJI allow me to fly in an official CAAS NFZ if I just use your map/app.

You have to google for drone legislation per country I guess.

I'm from Norway and regulations for flying a drone here is pretty similar to most other countries. I would definitively recommend you'd check out this page: http://luftfartstilsynet.no/selv ... PASDrones_in_Norway

In general; as long as you are just flying for recreational use, these are basic rules:
-Max altitude (AGL) 120m
-Always fly VLOS (Visual line of sight)
-Flying can only happen in daylight
-150m away from other people and buildings (that you don't have permission from)
-5km away from airports

And there are other NFZ in Norway. E.g there is a no fly zone in Oslo which I believe is not even listed in the official NFZ-map from DJI.

I know from experience that the regulations in Sweden is very similar to what we have in Norway. But I'm not sure about Estonia and Finland.

Have a nice trip! :-)

The links in comment 4 will be helpful. In addition and in Sweden. A general drone map is available. "R" needs to be looked up. I suggest you ask again if you know you will visit those places. The red places are prohibeted. The light red is 50 meters max. All other is 120 meters. http://www.xn--drnarkartan-sfb.se/

Thanks for reminding. Please note that we would recommend users follow the local regulations first. And we would not recommend you fly in NFZ.

Also note that in Norway I belive that national parks and other protected areas have a general rule against motorized traffic in the wilderness, including low flying, and this would from what I have been told also apply to drone flying. NFZ like these will not be shown on the official maps but may still apply.
