Your problem was obviously overhead cables, yes rookie but one we all have come pretty close too, always best to check out the area throughly before flying.

Yeah...  something I didn't expect to see...  overhead cables going across the water.  There were plenty of cables over land which I was aware of...  I'm not sure if I even noticed those cables until editing....

An early lesson which is good.
