On boot up Spark front LED flashes red briefly then nothing. Rear LED seems to go through boot sequence then sticks at fast flashing yellow even when connected to RC,
Have 'refreshed' using Assistant 2 but same happens.
What do i do?

Thanks but this is not the problem.  There is NO red front LED after boot up and the RC is connected - you can fly but the rear LED just fas flash all the time.

Have you tried to do a relinking procedure with the remote?? Or refresh the FW using the DJI Assistant 2 software.

Please provide me the screenshot of the image screen. What is the color of the indicator of your RC?

Are you filming?  If you are filming video, the front LEDs turn off so they don't interfere with the video.

On my way back home from Scotland. Will send screen shots over weekend. Spark flies with RC nut no red LED and constant yellow flashing rear LEDs

Change your firmware to an older version then re-install the current firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 application.  You should be good to go.

Very helpful. But I have only had the spark a week and flown maybe 1.5hours. I should not be having to do this.

Elektra have done two small videos (6 and (MB)  but can not up load them.  What screen shot o you want?
The RC indicator is Green and the spark flies but does not obey all commands. The RED forward LED comes on briefly when booting but is OFF afterwards. The rear LEDs just keep flashing Yellow,
The Spark is only a week old and I have hardly had any flying time at all.

OK in desperation tried that - but still no front REDs! Also tried re-calibrating everything!
Probably send it back and ask for a replacement!!

Think I have a)found the cause and b) fixed the damage.  Connecting the RC to mobile with OTG cable caused it. Factory reset and new upgrade solved it. Hopefully all now OK - will see tomorrow.

please make a video on how you did it.. I have the same problem too. How to Factory reset and new upgrade?

I used Assistant 2 which has a reset at the bottom of the software versions and then simply re-loaded latest version.  Whilst it has resolved the RED led issue I am still not convinced it has totally solved the problem and am nervous about having a 'fly-away' now.

Having flown today not sure I have!! But maybe because it is too cold. Front LEDs flashing odd colours occasionally.

I've just returned from 2 flights - cold isn't the word! I AM FREEZING LOL
