Does the airspace fail/safe restrictions apply to all FAA class B,C, & D airports?   I assume the 5 mile circle from the airport surface and up...  I live 5.2 miles from a class C airport and do not seem to have any problems with it.

Please check it on DJI official website. All restricted areas are listed on DJI official website at http://www.dji.com/fly-safe/categoryy-mc.

Thanks for the direction to the info... that page link did not exist got a "404" error, but a google search of "fly safe DJI zones"  found it.    The simple answer is  NOT all class A,B & C airports are prohibited.   As a matter of fact the vast majority of these airports are available to fly in until the future days of the FAA restrictng drones.      Out my way only DEN  or Denver International is a no fly zone.

As a general rule its best not to fly near any airport.
If you are in the USA then the FAA website will give you guidance.
