I am disgusted at the the delay the Fire Red Flymore Combo is receiving. Still no sign of it. Every other option available, but not this one.

All the fun of trying out a new drone has now gone. If I ever get it, the fun is already over. Everyone else has been playing with theirs and mine would be just another yawn by the time it arrives.

I cancelled it last week.

I will wait for the the Pro II and put a bit extra money towards it. I might order the plain white one this time.....

You havent registered it correctly, or with the same /correct email address that you used on your account to register the osmo2.....

Was it a pre-order or just ordered recently. The back log will take some time to get rid of - 1st come 1st served nature of things. Exactly the same when MP 1st came out. Had to wait a month or so before normal orders were sent out. Patience is a virtue most tested by wanting new tech toys.

Throwing the toys out of the Pram ! When Mavic Pro was released waiting time was 4 months so hopefully Mavic2 will be quicker. Most people are going through the winter and most likely getting very little flying time, it could be October when Mavic2 is released very short days and very cold , so could be 9 months before you get flying.
But I suppose you might feel buyers regret if you get MavAir and Mavic2 has much more to offer.

I have lost interest now. I think I would much rather wait for the Pro II

It isn’t like there’s a limited quotient of fun and everyone else already used it up. I ordered mine directly from DJI on 1/28 and I got it about 10 days later.

Does it really matter what colour you get though, they all do the same job.

MP2 won’t be a little bit more if it has a 1” sensor - probably nearer twice the price.
Being prosumer grade I strongly doubt that the first release will have colour options.
Wait time for shipping could be months if the MP1 original release is anything to go by.

Still the MA went quicker this time so it might be a sign that they've revised the cycle a bit in a good way

It doesn't matter, what practical advantage does one colour have over the other?!

DJI strikes again! Takes your money, promises you device, but never follows through. Sounds about right for DJI. Proven track record on this one.

Once again, color doesn't really matter....after few hundred meters you can't see MA anyway and you can always buy some skin. If mobility doesn't matter to you, you can wait for Pro II.....from my point of view, MA offers everything I want from drone and I have to say I wouldn't buy bigger drone than MA from now.

Just cancel with WEX and get it from Heliguy. Surprised you haven't already. Got my black on from WEX on Feb 6th, but that was in stock and not a pre-order.

I’ve missed all to fun of trying something new. When I eventually got it everyone one will be onto the next one.  Pointless choosing white now after all this time wasted waiting for red.

Went through Wex because they did credit. Will do it direct with DJI on the Pro 2 I think.

I’m not in a rush, just don’t want old tech.

Also sort of lost interest because of YouTube’s new rules.

Don't buy direct via DJI, they don't fully respect consumer law. Your consumer rights are stronger if you purchase via a UK supplier. You could consider John Lewis as they usually offer a 2 year guarantee.

DJI put the red model out on the market telling distributors to accept sales. DJI has yet to release the color. It's on DJI.

Order one from John Lewis or Jessops you get the added benefit of their in shop garantee. Which I think is far better than the DJI one I got 3 years from John Lewis.

They have the white one in stock no reds though. You don't need the Flymore in my view. The standard and one extra battery is fine I recon and way cheaper. the bag you get in the flymore is pants

Avoid Jessops - they tell lies sell you second hand equipment as new, promise to sort it out, then don't - crooks.

I cancelled mine too after ordering it the day after it was announced.  Waited almost a month and gave up - got the black.  Works the same.

I liked the original pro but by the time I thought abut getting one I was guessing it was due for update.

I saw the Air and thought what was a good option so went with that. If I had known the red would be delayed I would have gone with which ever colour was most likely to be delivered first.

I am happy to wait (and save up a little) for the MP2 now rather than get a White Air, as I know know I will be disappointed that I did not wait again.

This will be my first drone, so I want to get one I know will last a while.

Oh come on.....Everyone knows Red is faster....Drones for less has them but the Onyx Black one is £14 more expensive than the white version due to it being the stealth version. Got it now - White for normal people. Red for speed freaks and Black for Spec Op's. DJI doesn't explain the differences......

Argos have them too..... order today collect tomorrow in most stores.... or order today and delivered Monday.

I had a fabulous buying experience with Argos, my first MA arrived day after ordering.... unboxed and updated and was faulty had a camera and/or gimbal fault. Rang Argos customer service and without quibble or discussion arranged replacement that was delivered next day by 11am and collected faulty one at same time.

I wouldn't buy from Drones For Less though, they look like a grey import seller.

Had 2 DJI from them and no issues at all. Good delivery or just pop in on the way past sometimes.

After long and hard thought about my needs I have reluctantly decided to re-order the black one with the fly more combo. I need to forget the fun others have already had and think of my own fun. I was smitten with the Air when I originally saw it and that's not really changed.

So hopefully in a few days I'll be charging my batteries for the first flight.

MP II is probably going to be more than I can make practical use of. I have to be realistic.

I can always paint it Red or add a skin if I feel the need
