I have downloaded the latest Firmware - Phantom_3_Professional_Firmware_v1.1.6_en

I have gone through the process of updating because when I viewed the about section of the Pilot App it says firmware version 1.1.5

after a successful update to the aircraft and a successful update to the transmitter and getting a txt file saying Success I checked the app again and it still says firmware version 1.1.5


after trying the update again and getting the following txt file

Packet: P3X_FW_V01.01.0006.bin
Result: Abort.
The firmware on the SD card is identical to or older than the current firmware on the aircraft.

I can only assume there is a slight firmware naming misalignment  

can anyone confirm this or does this highlight a problem

When the Pilot app says "1.1.5" isn't that the application version, not the P3's firmware version?  Or am I mistaken?

I updated to the latest app released today

so
app version 1.1.0

Firmware 1.1.5  (read from the phantom) even though I've updated to 1.1.6 tonight

confusing

shows as Firmware 1.1.6 on IOS app
