I am a done all the firmware updates and everything I can find via google searches nothing has helped. You power the p4p on the machine powers up the camera moves up then down and it stays down will not move to center position. Any help would be great thanks

Try a gimbal calibration and if that does not work, then refresh the firmware as it seems like there is a glitch there somewhere. You could also try resetting the camera settings.

Just to verify, is the firmware update successful? What's the current aircraft, controller and APP version? Could you upload a short video of gimbal issue for better assistance? We'd like to help.

I will get you video shortly of what it does. All firmware is up to date I even tried previous versions as some have had successfully fixed the problem going to an older version of firmware. I’m have tried the gimbal calibration it goes through does it on the screen says its done and the camera never moves. Not sure on the version but I will get back to you on those thanks for the reply’s and help

Try uninstall go4

Reinstall Go4 App should be 4.2.6...............BUT.....if you are on IOS, do that update after uninstall Go4......once IOS is completely updated, then reinstall Go4 App

I did my update 2 days ago.......no issues......started with the IOS,  then Go4, then download AC/RC update, REBOOT after successful update,   Calibrate IMU, and last Calibrate gimbal.

Went through all that and still same issue camera goes up and down on aircraft start up and still just stays down and when i do the gimbal calibration its says succesful but the camera never moves during calibrations

I Noticed this in simulation mode that the gimbal changes yet its just facing down not moving or dowing anything
any one have answers for this

It just seems like the gimbal is starting from the wrong position. Can you try turning the Phantom on while holding it with the front pointing down and the camera is also pointing down. This should get the camera to point in the right direction. Then sit the Phantom on its legs normally and see if the camera stays pointing to the front. If it does, then turn it off and on again and see if the camera is now facing forward.

That would solve half the problem the other issue is i have no control on rc of the gimbal at all

You try downgrade to v01.04.0602 or 01.05.0300 and see if can work or not.

I tried all three version of firmware and I end up with the same result power on copter and remote the camer gimbal moves up then down and stays down. The picture transmits fine and no gimbal control on the remote.

Have you tried to calibrate the RC. The calibration starts with the sticks and then the second part are the two gimbal dials have to be moved both ways to the extent of their travel.
