hi everyone,

My smart capture is greyed out.  Also there is no asteroid or boomerang modes.  I think I have updated the firmware via djigo app.  Do I really need to use the assistant to do a full update to get these options?

Further to this.  I turned it on today and the DGI Go app said it needs updating. I updated via the app successfully.  I even checked in the app when the drone was connected (under settings).
Just installed DJI Assistant and it is updating again??

You also need to update each of the batteries.

Sorry but that last comment was from  naughty daughter.

How do I update the batteries?

Also when I reconnected to the drone using the DJI go app it has asked me to update the controller.  The controller version is the same as the old Drone version 1.0100 I think.

This isn't going to reverse the update I just did with assistant is it?

Also is there a page with all the most current versions?

Hi there, it is recommended to update the aircraft, controller, and APP to the latest version. You can find the release note here: https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... elease_Notes_en.pdf
If the battery needs update, there will be messages of incompatible firmware, slide the bar to refresh. If still no helps, please kindly post the screenshot for further assistance, thanks!
