We're you trying to go for a bird strike look?  Whenever we would have a bird strike on our jets, this is what it reminds me of.

To each their own, not to my personal taste. It looks like it flew through a flock of birds. If that's your thing, cool paint job

Yeah the photos are terrible I took them with my phone and then emailed them to myself in order to have them available for placement in this thread.I always have to open the files and resave as a smaller image size since this website only handles files smaller tyhan 2mb = headache.
These may give a better perspctive.

You cannot be serious? So are we not allowed to put stickers on our bird without voiding the warranty? Just buy the replacement plastic parts and put them on if ever any warranty work needed.
You may have to band them up out in the driveway to give them that "crashed" look feel, but gese. Hard to believe they would not accept a warranty for a paint job.

I thought stickers were ok. But I " Painted " mine, I purchased all the outer parts and had them painted while still flying and waiting for the parts to dry. I could put all the original pieces back on and act like something happened after upgrading the firmware, But I'm not that unscrupulous I knew what I was getting into when I took it apart.

There new parts on ebay were about $55 the hydrographic company charged me $100.

you could always upload better photos to a 3rd party site and link it to here, but thats a huge PITA and i hate reading old threads where people do that cause the pics usually expire on the hosting page and then you got nothing to look at, lol

I was thinking about painting mine as everyone does not theirs to look like everyone else's. Like a bike or car. You want it to be yours and show off your talents. I didn't. Like I said, after all the problems with the updates and trying to fix things, all I want to do is fly one of the best UAVs on the market within my price range, the DJI Inspire 1 and the newest release.
