Just got a notification that the IOS app is finally out and ready for you to update!!!!! The wait is over people, just dont do anything stupid and crash it on purpose.

It still showed as version 1.0.3 in the app store but when you download it...it installs 1.1.1

What version is the updated app?  On the App Store on my iPad, the version I see is 1.0.3 dated April 3. Seems like the date should be May 5.  

The current version is 1.1.1.  If that is what you are downloading then that is correct.  Remember that you need to upgrade your P3 and Tx to make it work.

yes it downloded as 1.0.3 once it finshed downloading it said upadte then i upated to 1.1.1

Interesting message on my iPhone 6 Plus.  I'm not bothered,,, it works fine on my iPad which I bought just for this quad,,, I was just trying it on the iPhone just to see what it looks like.

^^^ Never mind ... I see that it somehow installed 1.0.3 and now it wants to update ... I'm sure it will be much happier once it updates.

I downloaded it too, but can't check it out right now... Does someone know if the Flight simulator made it in. I hear it was iOS version only for now. Believe it or not, this Flight simulator appeals to me. I travel a lot for business, but on trips I can't bring the P3. It would be nice to at least pack the controller, and fly in the simulator on the ipad so I can scratch that flying itch even when I don't have access to really fly.

Yes it is.  I just used it

I just used the simulator for a few. Not sure I am getting the point. Can you not see in FPV on the simulator? It looks cool when you are flying up close. The camera even moves on the animated drone when you control it. The p3 must be powered on...odd but ok. Someone let me know if there is more info on using the simulator.

Im just comparing the iPhone 6 plus version of the app to the iPad mini one and I'm a little confused. The iPhone 6 plus version has more icons on the left hand side that seem to be presets for movement and the iPad version doesn't seem to have those anywhere. Sorry if this has been addressed or mentioned in another post. Thanks

Do you have an Inspire 1?
The app's interface you showed on iPhone 6 plus is for Inspire 1.

Alright, Yeah! I'm on board and just ordered a P3Pro from store stock at DroneNerds for pickup in the AM and a Airport Helipak Backpack from Amazon. Will be flying over the nearby nature preserve and will post video and photos.

You had to hit the ? or help at the main screen.. I eventually found it... Not really impressed with it. First of all, it is only useful to me if i can use while traveling, when I don't have access to my P3 (but I can easily carry the controller). Second, it is a very disappointing simulator compared to many on the market... I don't think the simulator should be a priority to DJI--the real craft is more important--but I do hope they improve the simulator in the future; and at the very least allow it to function without the P3 craft having to be powered and connected.
