So when it starts to land automatically either using the landing or RTH button, when it's close to the ground it would stop and just hover there until the battery dies. Is there any way to let it automatically land?

It will, you just have to confirm it one more time!

Not getting the confirmation and what if the RC dies?

Just grab it from the bottom and rotate it 90 degree to shut off the motors.

Just use the sticks to make it land.

I believe by design it doesn’t auto land as you may be over water or an unsafe landing surface.

In my experience, no Sparkbattery is outrunning the battery life of the RC!
Even if started with one LED flashing (Which I would consider a stupid idea ;-)
And on the other hand: Tilt it like DJT_MVSP mentiones or just wait it out

Thanks! Tilt to turn off works but it was kind of scary.

Please follow the advice above, you can use the stick to land it to a safe place.  

I really like it that it won't auto land because it may land on a wet surface or tall grass.. you can also do palm land or just grab it by the belly and rotate it to shut it off automatically.
