First day trying to use my new Mavic Air, and the controller appears to be broken.

The right joystick seems to not be centred properly, and rests pointing upward.

When i try to fly it, the left/right/backward works fine, but i cannot get it to fly forward using the RC.

I am guessing there is no easy way to fix this myself?

Why would you even try send it back shouldn’t be receiving RC in that condition.

Raise a ticket with DJI support and return it under the warranty as a defective unit out of the box (DOA claim). Better still, if bought in person from a store, take it back and get it replaced there and then with a new one.
