I am curious if there is a way to program a button to center the gimbal in the horizontal direction?  My finger sometimes hits the dial to rotate the gimbal left to right and it would be nice to have an easy way to center it again while in flight.

Think he is talking about centering the pitch of the camera not the yaw

Consider a gimbal calibration as done through the App. There is no button that will center a gimbal for you.

if you are looking to centre the gimbal from left to right or vice versa and put in right in the horizontal centre, use the C2 button on the cendence remote. it wont affect the vertical centre (by changing pitch); it will only centre horizontally (i.e. with yaw).
