On large concrete area, no landing pad, with an actual emergency RTH - I found Mavic Pro P to have very precise landing.  Mavic Pro P appeared to land same place and pointing same direction as it took off from.

My MP will land by it's self with in a couple of inches from where it took off from.

That is why I found it to be quite impressive. To find it's way back to almost exactly the same spot!

In the beginning I used RTH a lot, just to make sure it worked. This winter not so much because I took off from my deck, under a canopy of trees and could not have it just drop straight down, so had to fauns a through the trees landing. Which is good experience for manual flying. Now I will use it every once in a while but like the challenge of manual landing. Still with do the precision take off though, so incase of trouble, the home point is locked and loaded.

99% of the time my MP has hit the mark using RTH and the precise landing option.
There has been a few occasions it missed the mark by 10 feet.. Had to take control when it was about to land.
I found in those  case if I recalibrate the compass it will RTH and will land exactly where it took off from.

I always check the status of the compass and IMU before flying. I have no explanation why it sometimes is off when it does RTH.

It's usually very accruate, however, it has missed the landings a couple times by about 7-10 feet.
