I purchased a Spark fly more combo last week with the same issue, the Remote would not charge. I called and was told to send it back to a repair facility in Texas. It is going to take 3 weeks I'm told to get a functioning remote for this new drone. Is this typical quality? I see a lot of post with the same problem and am thinking I should send the entire thing back.
Sorry for the difficulties. Have you tried to change the charging cable and update the firmware? If yes and the issue persists, you can return the whole package back.
You can request a refund if the product is within seven (7) calendar days of receiving a product if the product has a manufacturing defect or a replacement within fifteen (15) calendar days of receiving the product if the product suffers performance failure.
For refund, I suggest contacting the dealer if you are purchasing from the dealer.
If you purchase the drone from DJI Store, please kindly contact the support to start a case. Hope you can get the things sorted out soon.
