where do you get info on the 4.2.8 version S-e-ven?

A german friend of mine wanna come visit, in some weeks.
He has no Spark but an Air and asked me after his firmware update for the Air, what would be the meaning of "Added support for operating at 5.8 GHz in Thailand."
(I have no clue!)
Btw. he mentioned, he got the Go4 App in German, too
And the Version is 4.4.2.8, the last version before, 4.2.6, was still not available in german.
I assume, the language thing may be the reason, that the germans getting it first?

I don't have an Android device (anybody interested in donating an old one to the cause?), so I can't check for sure, but when I look at the Google Play store from here in the US, it is a bit confusing!   .  Under "Current Version" it has "4.2.6" listed.  However, in the release notes, it says 4.2.8 and lists the things that were updated in the 4.2.8 update.  So I'm not sure if its for sure being distributed to users or not.  However, it seems like their global roll out with Android updates can take some time even after the first countries start getting access to it.

In regards to the 5.8GHz note, the newest Mavic Air firmware (v01.00.0300) now allows for either 2.4GHz or 5.8GHz while in Thailand.  Prior to this update, the MA could only use the 2.4GHz for WiFi.

Not sure, but I'm guessing it was just a mistake.  But that is only a guess.

And I got a info that OTG is also in 4.2.8 not available for Spark User on Android.
'Nice', DJI, very 'nice'

4.2.8 is definitely put. See it on my play store.

Good things about the update so far:
- The app is now localized in German. (Don't know about other languages)
- Noticed less lag in the transmission in a first test.

Not so good thing:
- OTG still not working properly; showing no telemetry data.

Is there an option to force it back to English? I have some pretty bad experiences with app translations...

Updated mine yesterday (Android Samsung S8) My map has dissapeared again, no OTG support, pictures still don't appear in Go4 app so i have to take them off the sd card every time i take a photo and 360 pano's are still broken when once worked a dream so i have to use another app to splice!! SO...............  DJI Elektra - I can report that nothing has been resolved for my Spark (BUT I STILL LOVE IT)

I'm still using 4.1.15 with my Spark, since that is the last version which supported the OTG cable with Android. I will not update until OTG support is re-instated.

My google play store shows 4.2.8 as the current version available and says it was release on 3/23/2018.  However, it doesnt list anything special for the Spark.  It specifically says (word for word) "DJI GO 4.0 has been optimized for all of DJI's latest products.  This includes the Phantom 4, Mavic Pro, Phantom 4 pro and Inspire 2"

Happy 4.1.15 user here. I've yet to see a compelling reason to upgrade. More space used on the phone and no OTG support.

Very disappointment again, No OTG, I only upgrade if OTG is supported, but again the 4.1.15 mod is very stable with OTG and mavic flightmodes available. Soon asteroid and boomerang are also available on the mod app!
