Hello Friends.

I have a old Phantom 2.
And i want to put spreading landing legs on it...
Do somebody know where to get a good after market Retractable landing legs for it?
And does someone have good experience with it?

Seems like a costly endeavor for an old bird.

Without a camera gimbal that rotates 360*, retractable landing gear are pointless.

To get any decent range, you'd want to turn the controller antennas horizontal.  

I wonder if moving the legs horizontal would negatively affect the compass... ?  Would it need to be calibrated while the legs are horizontal?

Yes, the flat sides of the RC antenna must always be turned towards the drone.

For best reception, going both ways. Out and back.

Are the motorized landing gear, all that heavy?

I don't see any use for them, without a 360* turning camera gimbal.

The Phantom 3 Pro is awesome. Mine has been completely trouble free from day one.

oh man i just got the phantom 3.. but the person a bought it from send me a phantom 3 SE :O
i thought it was a P3P and the controller was a dissapointment. it will not turn on i triede do charge it all night. but no luck

Then he ripped you off, in that transaction. I hope that you can return it somehow. That's a very unfair deal, and practice. But on the web, you must be careful, in dealing with the unknown.

If you bought it with a credit card, there might be a grace period, that you could possibly cancel payment.

he riped me off so badly. i cant even return it and get my money back.. so i have to repair it..

Why can't you return it, if it was sold as something else and/or not working and seller refuse a cancel of the deal report him for fraud.

This really annoys the heck out of me too. I can't believe that there are such "unclassified" people around. I can't even right my full descriptive words of anger and frustration over this. Suffice it to say, I would be happy to go chat with that seller, if I could.  Too bad we are in such diverse locations. ;-)

I hope you can still figure this out to a positive conclusion, but how is beyond me, at this moment.
