I have a question, before I sent my drone in for repair I called to be sure my 1 year warranty covered what had happened. What happened was as I was flying, my drone unexpectedly returned home at 20%. The problem with this is that I turned this feature off days prior to this and the only thing leading to the resetting of my settings is the software up date. The only catch is, there is nothing in the terms and agreements about the settings being reset. So, the question is, is it right for them to charge me $329 dollars to repair it due to "user error"?

I don't know from your post what happened to require a repair but I think that DJI advises you recheck settings after updating software.

They do? I read over the terms before updating and I didn't see anything about that. I've done this with past DJI drones and never had this happen.

I don’t see where the FALSE information is being expressed. This scenarios is just not considered in the warranty, so I guess it is up to DJI to honor it or not.

False would be stating something and then not honoring it.

I know that the Mavic Pro Manual V2.0 states on page 61.  To check settings after any and all updates.

It clearly tells you in your manual that settings may change after updates, you should also check RTH settings before you fly.

It also seems strange that you don’t mention what happened and why this change caused you to crash.

May I know which settings have been turned off? Here is a screenshot for you, is it Smart Return-to Home? Or the Low Battery Warning and Critical Low Battery Warning was just reduced?
