The usual DJI cryptic announcement with an image that doesn't really show very much. A Mavic Pro 2 with dual lens pehaps or something totally new. I fear another wallet bashing either way..... The next DJI release

I think it is some kind of 'democracy'. Like you can't delete a thread when others replied.
But then again. I can delete this post. Even if others answered to that one.
So I'm thinking it is just the way the database of this forum works.
When there are replies, the thread can't be deleted, unless you have some special access (like the admins)

Our company would always tell our Sales people about latest and greatest; leaving those who worked on our products Red-faced when our customers asked technical questions.

The announcement will be made in San Franciso morning time. Right now it's only 09:06 am there, thus we will need some more patience.

Interesting fact: I was promised by chat support that the MP and MPP will be on sale this week and to be patient before buying it. Makes me wonder

I tend to think it will be around Sept/Oct here in the states before we see a new consumer model, it hasn't been all that long since the release of the P4O, MPP & the MA. Thinking a big pre-Xmas release, maybe a P5 & MP II, just speculation, DJI will probably want to keep that itch growing before we scratch it !

Its event poster did talk about work so consumers should have seen that coming..  Pretty obvious it was enterprise related...

Absolutely and I have enjoyed it! It's a great progress in drone technology all together in my opinion. Any technological advancement will sooner or later also reach the consumer level as appropriate. We know it well enough from NASA and other technology areas. At the end of the day all are benefitting. And if DJI launches a great new product that will help to save lives and to avoid serious hazards, that is a big progress by itself.
