Since DJI have done a weird thing when flying with their Goggles I can't get a log file and have to extrakt the .DAT files from the drone. How can I convert them to a format that AirData can read?
They are about 100 - 300 MB each

Then they will get my Goggles back faster than they think. Without logs it's useless piece of technology

Why do they do like this?

The .DAT file can be examined by downloading the software available at http://datfile.net/index.html

There are 2 programs that may assist. 1 - CsvView, 2- DatCon.   Both include a program called ExtractDJI.exe - run this to extract the .DAT file(s) 1st (after DJI Assistant)  & then use either program. Read the instructions. It works with Spark.
CsvView will convert data to graphs. Select the signal data as required.
DatCon will convert data  to  csv/kml & other log files.
The are at least 3 files to check. The DJI go app has the .txt & .dat files flight records, maybe more logs? Then, convert the A/C .DAT file & compare the results.
I hope this helps?

I don't have Goggles myself but now understand your frustration & agree 100%.
I searched the forums & others have the same problem. No flight records when using Goggles.

The DJI Go app disconnects when using Goggles so no flight record? It doesn't add to your stats & no logs for AirData?
I agree this is a problem. The Goggles should keep the same flight records as DJI Go app & also  sync with the cloud.
It seems your 'android/IOS' flight records are 'lost' when using Goggles.

The raw flight data from the drone can be converted - as posted above. I'm sorry it does not meet the 'simple' AirData solution, but it's reasonable - nothing else to try?
Is there any specific info you are searching for?

I guess the same problem exist when flying with R/C alone or third party software.
Unfortunately the only data available is from the drone .dat file. Convert as required with DatCon or CsvView. It's not as simple as AirData, but you can extract all the information into .csv, .kml (google earth track) & *.log.txt etc. with DatCon or view graphs

I will keep all my .LOG files until AirData can read them so eventually I will catch up with the logs.

But it's a mystery why DJI keep our logs hostage in the Goggles, you can report them but not read them yourself.

DJI flight data records are basically divided into a number of different file formats i.e .DAT, .TXT, the Audio and Video formats etc. To view your flight data in Airdata, you may import the .TXT file into Airdata which in turn converts the .TXT file format into .KML file,.CSV file,.GPX file formats. I therefore suggest you import the .TXT file in the Flight Record such as DJIFlightRecord_2020-10-31_[14-24-48].txt into Airdata.
Also use DatCon version 4 and CsvView to convert .DAT file  into other formats.
