I've just installed go app v. 4.2.8 (android on galaxy s6 and latest firmware on mavic pro) and I'm very disappointed to see that also in this version the video feed is very choppy with many micro freeze (mostly when panning).
I'm waiting for this new version for almost 2 months and is very frustrating to see that nothing has changed.  

Also having problem that Flight Record mapping is not working!!!

I don't see a V 4.2.8 in android playstore. Latest version I see is V 4.2.6 (6 feb 2018)

Thanks for the info, I will give it a try.

4.2.8  The transfer of photos to the phone or tablet still does not work properly with the Mavic Pro..

1 using the small  short connector to the  socket on the left hand of the RC, some times pictures are sent to the phone, dont show in phone  gallery  but show in cache image after a phone restart.
2 using the usb  on the bottom to phone they went to DJI Album, once, havent tried it again as waiting for rc to recharge.
3 using wifi pictures   went to the cache image after restart.
4 all pictures appear in the library option, in the bottom right hand corner.

Did you enable flight mode? Did you kill / stop all other apps on the phone? This helps for me.

Yes flight mode was enabled and I killed all apps running in background, but unfortunately this didn't work for me...
