Want to change my Phanton Vision camera for the H3-3D as on the Vision Plus - anyone tried this yet and if so how succesful - I know I will lose the telemetry but need to improive the quality of the video and reduce it being shakey so to speak in higher winds

Tests on youtube show that V+ is more stable than h33d, so maybe you will be dissapointed in that matter. Try to balance your propellers.
But if you want better quality on the vids, i can understand why you want to upgrade.

And you will be able to use the system exactly as today, no need for FPV transmitters, screens and stuff.
I think i will buy one of these.
