Very interesting, the potential applications are exciting but we'll see how far it goes, hopefully far.
Well listening this morning on radio, they intend taking it as far as drones picking up humans and taxiing to their destination. It might be awhile away yet, but driverless cars are not to far away , tech moving very fast.
Amazing isn't it. I just read an other article on U-Space. There is an expectancy that 4 years from now the majority of professional droneflights will be completely autonomous.
Technology with these drones is moving so fast, its unbelievable.

U-Space could be very interesting for professional flyers, I’ve been following this for a couple of years, it’s also very encouraging that manned aviation are getting much more involved in unmanned flying IMO I believe this will result in better flying conditions for all drone users hobbyists and pros alike.

That sounds very good, that was a big hurdle to take. With that out of the way general acceptance of drones will be the last step, If a good compromise can be achieved in the air security for manned and unmanned flights.
Its great to see that there is a real open mind for future drone technology going forward.
