I'm curious how many of you have changed the stick mode or kept it at default.
I switched it as the screen shot shows. I figured it's better because this way I can fly a curve with one hand.
There is always so much to click away in the app and that would disrupt a curve when having sticks in default.

What do you guys prefer and why?

Mode 2.  Always used and mental and finger memory.

I've always used Mode 2, so it just feels natural at this point. I think it's also a great choice for most pilots since almost all documentation and/or videos that mention the remote controller sticks online are using the Mode 2 configuration.

Mode 2, which is standard mode for model aircrafts.

Mode 3 because it's similar, in my mind, to playing first person video games where the left stick is your "feet" and the right stick is your "eyes".  When in the default mode, I found myself instinctively pushing back on the left stick to move backwards, only to be surprised that the drone's altitude lowered so I switched to Mode 3.

Hi there, it is not recommended to change the stick mode after you familiar with one of them, because it will make you confused if you are unable to remember it clearly, which might cause a potential threat to the flight safety. Normally, we will recommend the default. Thanks!

Mode 3. Gamers know.

My first drone was a toy drone and it used Mode 2 so that's what I learned on.  

Stick Mode Two, as per the best gamer consoles, as well. ;-)

Stick Mode 3 here.... could not get the controllers to work at all in mode 2. To much consol gaming, felt right at home in stick mode 3 :-)

I completely agree.

I just bought my 1st ever drone yesterday (Mini 2) and realized mode 2 is confusing for me as a gamer. I tried all modes and stayed with mode 3 as it's the one that feels right for someone who has not flown before but used to how camera movement works in 1st and 3rd person games. I understand why most people stay with mode 2 though but for us gamers who are new to drones, mode 3 seems to be the right choice.
